My mom and I had a Japanese neighbor in Seattle. The Japanese female taught us a little about the Japanese culture. She told us the Japanese are a harsh people. She taught us people with nervous are taunted for being nervous or teased. She told us it is very shameful in Japan to seek medical services for nervousness. The Japanese female told us, she is constantly panicked while driving and at school. My mom told the Japanese neighbor, she should see a counselor and my mom told her it is nothing to be shamed about. The Japanese female told my mom „you are a strong people,“ she explained to my mom you don’t worry about being nervous.
